Orlando Molina is an Irish-Venezuelan, multi-award-winning composer, guitarist, and music producer whose distinctive musical palette has captivated audiences across four continents. His artistry has led him to perform for President Michael D. Higgins (on three occasions), Bono (U2), David Bisbal, Wynton Marsalis, Rubén Blades, and collaborate with Grammy winners Gustavo Dudamel, Miguel Siso and Ella Bric, among many others. His work with the RTÉ Orchestra and internationally acclaimed Latin American artists spans multiple musical disciplines.
Molina has built an extensive career as a sideman and session musician, commanding prestigious stages including Jazz at Lincoln Center, The National Concert Hall, Cork Jazz Festival, Electric Picnic, Bray Jazz Festival, Limerick Jazz Festival. Teatro Teresa Carreño, and Jazz al Parque, among many others, touring across the United States, United Kingdom, Israel, Spain, Ireland, Cuba, Egypt, Netherlands, and Venezuela.
His latest album Autorretrato en Tres Colores (Self-Portrait in Three Colours, 2025), received extensive media coverage across Latin America, Europe, and the USA, and achieved Latin Grammy pre-nominee status, standing as a masterwork of contemporary jazz infused with Latin American traditions.
